Key information about Chalmers...

Where & when does the church meet?

Se P W SM 2

Sunday services take place every Sunday at 9.30am (with children's programme), 11.30am and 6.30pm.  If you are coming to Chalmers for the first time please watch the welcome video on the welcome page.  People coming for the first time often find it helpful to arrive early so they can meet some of the welcome team before the service.

We meet at 69b Morningside Road, Edinburgh, EH10 4AZ.   You can see a map on our contact us page.  The services at 11.30am and 6.30pm are also livestreamed.

What should I expect when I visit Chalmers?

When you come in person, you will receive a very warm welcome particularly from the stewards, who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.  Online, services run for about an hour and are fairly informal.  The heart of our services is the Word of God in song, prayer and Bible teaching.

What happens for children on Sundays?

Children

There is a fantastic programme for children and young people on Sundays.  Normally our children's programmes run as follows:

Creche for 0-1s during the 9.30am service
Little Stars for children age 2 during the 9.30am service
Sparklers for children age 3-school year P1 during the 9.30am service
Sunday Club for school years P2-P7 during the 9.30am service
Youth Church for school years S1-S2 during the 9.30am service
CCY for school years S3-S6 at 5pm

Children stay with their parents at the start of the service. The person leading the service will announce when the children go out to their programmes. You will need to go with your children and register them the first time they attend.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you on the children and youth pages or get in touch for more information.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
